Phase 2 - Aesthetics of the park

We as a group continually try to do litter picks and keep the park tidy. It has to be added that this is with the assistance and guidance of Outdoor Amenities who manage the park on a day to day basis.


The feedback from surveys we have received state that the general public have noticed a marked increase in the look of the park.


To date phase 2 work includes:

  • 15 new benches throughout the park including 2 oak benches.
  • Removals of old band stand area.
  • Removal of old tired swing park.
  • Commission and installation of 2 oak benches.
  • Commission and installation of 6 picnic tables.
  • Painting bollards, existing benches and old building.
  • Removal of old tennis court fencing.
